Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Rextrake platform. By accessing, browsing or using Rextrake, the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Last updated: 14 October 2026.

This is a translation: in case of doubt, the binding text is the Italian version.

Scope

These Terms apply to all users of Rextrake, including visitors, registered users and anyone who accesses content or services provided through the platform.

Anyone who does not accept these Terms must refrain from using Rextrake. For a minor below the age of digital consent, they are accepted by the parent or guardian who creates the minor's profile.

Age and minors

Rextrake is also open to minors, with different rules depending on age.

For all minors, the profile and content (tracks, photos, ascents) are private by default; minors do not appear in leaderboards, in suggestions of people to follow or in public lists, and do not receive promotional communications. They cannot buy, sell, rent, make offers, subscribe to Premium services or pay for courses or fees: an adult does this for them.

In clubs, a minor may be an active member, or sign up for club outings, only with a guardian registered in the club or with the approval of the club president on the waiver signed by the parent or guardian. For a minor whose profile was created by a parent, the guardian registered in the club is that parent.

Anyone who registers declares that the date of birth and country stated are true. An account opened with false information to circumvent these rules may be suspended or closed. If it turns out that a minor below the age of digital consent has registered on their own, we close that account and a parent or guardian may create their profile.

Nature of the service

Rextrake is a platform for outdoor activities, operated by Bluix Group LTD (United Kingdom), which offers tracking tools (GPS tracks, routes, caves), features for clubs and communities, editorial content on outdoor gear and a second-hand marketplace between enthusiasts.

In the editorial and discovery sections, Rextrake does not directly sell the products referenced: links to third-party sites are provided for information purposes and any transactions take place outside the platform.

In the second-hand marketplace, sales take place directly between users: Rextrake is not a party to the sales contract. However, the platform manages escrow payments through Stripe: the buyer pays when placing the order, the funds are held by the platform and are transferred to the seller upon confirmation of delivery or, if there is no dispute, automatically 14 days after shipment. A platform fee of 8% of the item price applies to sales (shipping is excluded from the fee calculation).

Delivery takes place by shipping, at the cost stated by the seller in the listing, or by hand, if the seller allows it. If the buyer raises a dispute, Rextrake reviews the case and decides whether to release the funds to the seller or refund the buyer.

Rextrake also offers Premium services, including early notifications, personalised wishlists, price alerts, premium articles and public profiles. Premium subscriptions are subject to separate billing terms and conditions.
