About the event
Historic military ski mountaineering race organised by the Swiss Armed Forces and open to civilian competitors, both elite and recreational, who race in teams of three. The Z race runs from Zermatt to Verbier via Arolla and the A race from Arolla to Verbier, crossing points such as the Tête Blanche (3,650 m) on the Swiss-Italian border.
